About the Pleasantville Education Association

The Pleasantville Education Association (PEA) represents more than 50 members, including teachers, secretaries, security, maintenance, custodians, aides, and computer technicians in the Pleasantville Public Schools.

The PEA upholds the contracts the association negotiates with the board of education, and advocates for its members’ professional rights.

In addition, the PEA supports many projects and activities that benefit our schools, students, and community.

Studies show that strong professional associations such as the PEA effectively advocate for their students and communities. School districts with strong professional associations like the PEA also have better educational outcomes for students.

We are proud of the work we do in Pleasantville and we are proud to be a strong partner in public education!
