Mike Price who works Truancy at PHS was recently in the news for his heroism! Glad to have him on our team!
The auditor said that the loss of money had been a long standing problem that had been “chipped away” by the profits from the cafeteria. (You heard me PROFITS) this year the cafeteria did not see a profit, so that old deficit came back!. I’ll find the auditors report to post here.
Many Thanks to all who made the first year of the PEA PAC such a success! All three of our candidates were elected! Here’s hoping for many more successes! Thanks to Beth Schroeder for hosting our celebration at JoJo’s Italian Grille!

TIME TO PUT UP!
There is still time to help out! Contact Renee to get involved!
Renee Irwin has been appointed to head our NJEA approved Political Action Committee. We have some very important elections coming up and the candidates need our help over the top! If you can offer ANY of your time, talent, or treasure we can use you. If you’ve never worked on a campaign, now is the time. We will need everything from stuffing envelopes, making phone calls, knocking on doors with the candidates, to manning the phones on election day. Anything you can do will help.
Renee is planning a brief meeting on August 21 or 28. Please email Renee is you can make it or you can’t make the meetings but are willing to help out!
Now is the time to put our actions to good use! Please come out to help!

Welcome to the PEA website. We are glad you are here. You want the best for the children of Pleasantville and your search led you here. We are with you all the way! This is what we do everyday at Pleasantville. This is why we fight so hard for what is right. Every person, every book, every desk, everything that is Pleasantville is designed for one thing; to provide our children with the best education and experience possible. This is where you come in. We need everyone to make our goal. The children need the support of everyone. The community as well as the employees of Pleasantville School District must remain diligent to make sure that the main focus of Pleasantville School District remains the students. The outcome is worth it, though.
